Considering age old customs of personal adornment while working to imbed these into the core design and construction of each and every LaFrangia piece. Whenever possible, precious metals are recycled, recast and refabricated into restored treasures which honor the past, living on in the future.

Goods and Services Offered
LaFrangia is a brand of fine jewellery constructed primarily in four precious metals: Sterling Silver, 18 Karat Gold, Rose Gold and Yellow Gold Vermeil and Antique Bronze. The metals are cast into organic or vintage insprired forms and then gemstone elements are integrated into the design in order to enhance visual splender in each piece.
Customers are encouraged to bring in their own jewellery treasures to be redesigned into something new and exciting. The company specializes in heirloom construction techniques such as bezel setting cabachons & facetted gemstones, riveting coiling and pegging gems and gemstone beads, hand-knotting pearls and creating swags and ornamental dangles out of baubles that used to lay motionless at the bottom of a bead box where eyes could not appreciate.
The business also sells site specific jewellery lines to other retail businesses. An example of this is Planet Organic Market who purchases the “Seven Chakras” series of necklaces, bracelets and earrings composed of colorful mineral stones arranged in repeating rainbow colors signifying the energy centers within the body. Planet Organic also purchases handknotted Baltic Amber necklaces strung on silk with a non-metal clasp; these are ideal for those who have metal allergies or want to promote a positive electric pull by wearing amber. It is a natural resin (the semi-fossilized sap from coniferous trees) and creates static on the wearer.

A self proclaimed jewelry junkie, Jami has instructed a series of Design Workshops which focus on current trendsetting fashion pieces that can be completed in a day. She has worked previously in Extended Studies teaching Glass Bead making and Pearl Restringing and was an on site Student Monitor of the Jewelery and Metals Department during her last two years at ACAD.
